The thirteenth action adventure in the Mariner series

Prometheus 4, the first of a new generation of supertankers, plunges round the North Cape, heading for its rendezvous in the Barents Sea with Titan 10, from which it will collect its cargo. Before Mariner can speed toward the rendezvous to track Titan 10, a helicopter carrying a Russian special prosecutor and his beautiful assistant lands on Prometheus, and the mystery deepens. When Prometheus reaches Titan, the crew is missing, along with 10,000 tons of oil. Mariner decides the only way to discover what happened is to retrace the doomed sub's route, a decision that has terrifying consequences. A competently written, technologically detailed, futuristic seafaring thriller with all the right elements: a worthy hero, thuggish bad guys, high-octane action, sex, violence, and taut suspense.
