Gill Saunders is Senior Curator in the Word & Image Department of the Victoria and Albert Museum, specialising in twentieth century and contemporary prints and drawings. Previous publications include Prints Now, Walls are Talking, Recording Britain, In Black & White and co-editor of Bawden, Ravilious and the Artists of Great Bardfield. Peter Fuller, art critic and writer, was the founder and editor of Modern Painters, a quarterly journal of the fine arts, from 1987 until his death in 1990.
